Cottage Farm are featured in the Yellow Book (National Gardens Scheme).  Every year on four Sunday afternoons in June we open our gardens in order to raise money for Charity.  We serve homemade cream teas with real Jam and Clotted Cream, along with yummy cakes in order to raise thousands of pounds for charity each year, and of course not forgetting our plant sale made up from the many plants grown in the garden. We are a gardeners paradise and even if you are not staying in our lovely accommodation you are more than welcome to visit any Sunday afternoon between 1.30 and 5pm. Entrance is £4.50.

This year our special event on Sunday 19th June:- Gardens open as usual at 1.30, with a delicious BBQ from 5pm and the wonderful sounds of a Steel Band to take us through the evening. Tickets £10.00 available on the gate (inclusive of Garden entry and BBQ (feel free to bring your own bottle), a wonderful day and all for a good cause.

Although in the middle of nowhere, we are only a couple of miles to Orpington and Knockholt Stations, giving easy access to central London, a 30-40minute train journey will take you directly to London Bridge or Victoria, giving you the freedom to browse the City or visit one of our popular theatre shows or attractions such as the London Eye or one of our many Museums.

Biggin Hill is nearest local town to us, with Waitrose and Somerfield Supermarkets and all major high street banks, and of course not to mention Biggin Hill Airport, should you wish to charter a flight or just take a helicopter ride.

The home of Charles Darwin, Down House is approximately 2.5miles from us, a popular attraction that many of our guests like to walk to, stopping for lunch in one of our many lovely old English pubs serving delicious meals.
